Purge and Trap

Operating on the 2nd generation autosampler, the CDS 7550 is capable of 3D positioning within 1 mm, and thanks to its unique user settable calibration, it could handle standard 3.5" Thermal Desorption tube from any manufacturer. These features make CDS 7550 the most reliable Thermal Desorption autosampler available to the market. The Internal Standard module and Sample Saver module are optional. The CDS 7550 Thermal Desorption Tower could be purchased separately and added to your existing 7450 system to expand the sample introduction capability from Purge and Trap to Thermal Desorption. The switch process is engineered to be effortless.

Product Features
72 Position Autosampler

CDS adopts a novel way to protect the TD tube by sealing in a reusable gas tight metal chamber, while waiting for the autosampler to pick up.

Excellent TD Tube Compatibility

The autosampler can be configured through a calibration program to take standard 1/4" X 3.5" stainless steel TD tube from any manufacturer.

Precision Robotic Arm

The robotic arm holds 1mm X,Y,Z accuracy. The reliable gripping mechanism has the capability to handle both Pyrex glass and stainless steel TD tubes.

Optional Sample Saver

The optional sample saver module enables the sample to be re-adsorbed back to the tested TD tube.

Optional Gas IS Module

The optional IS module helps to obtain consistent response factor in GC/MS runs.

Built-in Leak Check

The automated leak check assures the system is air-tight before proceeding with the desorption of your sample.
