Summary:

The CDS Pyroprobe 6400 is an advanced pyrolysis GC/MS system designed for microplastics analysis, polymer characterization, additives analysis, and materials research applications. Built on CDS’s 6th generation Pyroprobe platform, the 6400 features DISC (Drop-In Sample Chamber) technology for rapid sample loading and introduces a new large sample tubes that hold more than 3x times the sample compared to our 6150 and 6200.

The system connects directly to virtually any GC/MS platform through a heated transfer line, allowing flexible installation without permanent instrument modification. The Pyroprobe 6400 supports fast and reliable Py-GC/MS analysis for universities, environmental laboratories, forensic applications aindustrial materials testing.

High Temperature Valve Oven System
CDS's valve oven design guarantees the sample path is evenly heated without cold spots. A heating temperature of 350°C assures minimal carry over.
