The 6150 is equipped with Drop-In-Sample-Chamber (DISC) technology with easy sample loading and 1.5% RSD. The system connects to any model GC with a heated sample line for easy on/off installation. Product Features CDS DISC System The 6150 is equipped with the revolutionary Drop In Sample Chamber (DISC) sample loading system. This system makes the loading of pyrolysis tubes a quick and trouble-free operation. Easy Sample Prep The DISC system is using a novel DISC tube to simplify the sample preparation process. No quartz wool is needed and the sample filling is as easy as dropping a straw into a drink. Unparalleled Reproducibility The DISC system brings an amazing 1.5% RSD for 5 run pyrolysis of Polystyrene at 600 °C by holding 0.1 °C temperature accuracy and calibrated temperature precision. Superior Resolution The 6000 series Pyroprobe adopts the computer aided Finite Element Analysis in the sample pathway development. The system could reach C55 for pyrolyzing Polyethylene through GC with a single quad mass-spec. Newly Designed Oven with High Temperature Valve The newly designed valve oven guarantees the sample path is evenly heated without cold spots. A heating temperature of 350 °C assures minimal carry over. Windows 11 Compatible Software The 6th generation CDS Pyroprobe has completely redesigned software for modern PC systems. It is also backward compatible with Windows XP SP3, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Built-In Leak Check This feature allows you to carry out pyrolysis studies with peace of mind. It transforms the horizontal sample loading probe used in traditional manual pyrolysis system to a convenient vertical loading system. The DISC saves your precious time by reducing the sample tube loading process. When used with the filler rod, the DISC helps to reduce sample preparation time by skipping the quartz wool insertion. The DISC chamber also isolates the pyrolysis sample tube from touching the platinum heating coil and can help to eliminate coil damages. This system makes the loading of pyrolysis tubes a quick and trouble-free operation. Easy Sample Prep The DISC system is using a novel DISC tube to simplify the sample preparation process. No quartz wool is needed and the sample filling is as easy as dropping a straw into a drink. Unparalleled Reproducibility The DISC system brings an amazing 1.5% RSD for 5 run pyrolysis of Polystyrene at 600 °C by holding 0.1 °C temperature accuracy and calibrated temperature precision. Analytical Focus Trap with Pre-Heat and Pre-Desorb The 6200 Pyrolyzer has a built-in low thermal mass analytical focus trap with active cooling. This feature opens a new door for thermal extraction applications. The pre-desorb pre-heat function significantly improves the early eluting module compounds producing sharp peak shape. Superior Resolution The newly designed valve oven guarantees the sample path is evenly heated without cold spots. A heating temperature of 350 °C assures minimum carry over. Thermal Desorption and Dynamic Headspace With the optional Thermal Desorption Probe and Dynamic Headspace vessel, the CDS 6200 could be converted to a versatile thermal extraction system.
