Summary:
Nitrogen concentration is a form of solvent evaporation that often follows extraction-based sample preparation and is the final step in preparing the sample for analysis by either GC or LC. The M64 nitrogen concentrator is an automated, high-throughput system permitting up to 64 samples to be processed in parallel for sample volumes ≤10mL. Sample volumes up to 200mL can also be accommodated for processing as many as 8 samples simultaneously. The evaporation process is fully automated through the use of needles that automatically lower as the solvent level decreases. Product Features
Automatic Needle Descent
As the solvent level decreases from evaporation, the needles automatically lower to maintain an effective distance from the solvent surface.
Easy Sample Monitoring
With windows built into the unit, the sample can be easily monitored to determine if sample processing should be continued or terminated.
Easy Needle Access
The needles are easily accessible for replacement or removal to block off unused channels during sample concentration.
