Summary:
Nitrogen concentration is a form of solvent evaporation that often follows extraction-based sample preparation and is the final step in preparing the sample for analysis by either GC or LC. The M80 nitrogen concentrator is the most sophisticated automated, high-throughput nitrogen concentrator that LTCDS has to offer. For sample volumes ≤20mL, the M80 is capable of processing up to 80 samples at a time. A maximum sample volume up to 60mL can also be accommodated, enabling up to 48 samples to be handled simultaneously. The evaporation process is fully automated through the use of needles that automatically lower as the solvent level decreases. The sophistication of the M80 All LabTech CDS concentrators are the perfect partner for the extraction instrumentation, including solid phase extraction and high-pressure solvent extraction. See the bottom of this webpage for the link to LTCDS's collection of automated solvent extraction instruments.
Product Features

Automated Needle Descent
As the solvent level decreases from evaporation, the needles automatically lower to maintain an effective distance from the solvent surface.

Familiar Android OS
Operated via an Android touchscreen interface with a 10.1-inch color display,
offering an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

Easy Sample Monitoring
With windows built into the unit, the sample can be easily monitored to determine if sample processing should be continued or terminated.

Cross-Platform Compatibility
The sample racks of the M80 are compatibility with the SPE2000, eliminating one additional step of sample transfer to new glassware.

Easy Needle Access
The needles are easily accessible for replacement or removal to block off unused channels during sample concentration.

Intuitive Learning Mode
Learning is a feature that allows users to quickly optimize methods to routine sample preparation procedures in the lab.
