CDS's Photoprobe provides the easiest way to perform weather-induced polymer degredation studies. Home >> Products >> Pyrolysis >> Photoprobe Pyrolysis Introduction Features Applications Parts & Options Downloads Photoprobe Product Introduction Specifications: Wavelength: Light Intensity: Light Control: Compatibility : Weight: Dimension (W x H x D): Options: 260 - 400 nm 800 mW/mm2 0-100% (1% step) 6150, 6200 with Autosampler 1 kg 4" X 5" X 3" Calibration Sensor Summary The CDS Photoprobe is a unique device that uses high power xenon lamp to irradiate sample in the Drop In Sample Chamber (DISC) to introduce environmental degradation with the combination of programmable temperature and user-select reactant gas. The intensity of the UV light is 100 times stronger than any competitor’s product, which shortens the testing time from hours to minutes. Product Features High Power Xenon Lamp A high power Xenon lamp provides an intense point source and high brightness with only 1 minute stabilization time and over 1000 hours lamp life time. Free Space Focusing The light from the light source is focused on the sample through a series of condenser lens without using any optical fiber, which dramatically improves the max light density. 260 nm - 400 nm Wavelength A series of optical filters are used to block light with wavelength above 400 nm to prevent sample heating from absorbing IR light. Easy Installation The Photoprobe is designed to be mounted inside the 6000 Autosampler module. The installation takes minutes to complete. UV Light Safety Due to the levels of UV radiation from the Photoprobe, ensure necessary safety equipment such as UV protective eyewear and sufficient vent in the lab for UV generated ozone. Software Compatible The 6000 series software has embeded the Photoprobe control option in the autosmapler module. CDS's high pressure pyrolyzer with reactor option to provide pilot study for plastic recycling or biomass fuel by Pyrolysis - Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (Py-GC-MS).  Home >> Products >> Pyrolysis >> CDS HPR Pyrolysis Introduction Features Applications Parts & Options Downloads CDS 5200 HPR Product Introduction Product Features CDS Resistively Heated Filament The CDS resistive heating coil is the most versatile way to pyrolyze your sample with the lowest thermal mass and quickest temperature ramp up rate. Pyrolysis in Extreme Enviroments The CDS HPR enables you to carry out pyrolysis at an elevated pressure of 500 PSI. No other systems can even come close. User Selectable Catalyst Reactor The CDS HPR system comes with a reactor system to enable catalysis studies at max temperature of 800 °C . The reactor can be bypassed through the rotation of a valve. Digital Display of the Pressure and Temperature No more guess on the sample pressure, and no more mess to crash the pyrolysis tube. The pressure and temperature are accurately and digitally controlled and displayed. Heavy Duty Back Pressure Regulator The back pressure regulator is the most heavy duty regulator commercially available. It reliably handle the most challenging settings. Optional Steam Module The optional steam module allows the user to carry out pyrolysis with steam as a reactant gas by elevated pressure. This option is another CDS first in advance pyrolysis capabilities.
